Jang Joon-Hyuk is a surgeon. He specializes in cancer of the liver,pancreas. Choi Do-Young is a physician.They've been friends since they were university students. Two work for the same university hospital and are assistant professors.

Do-Young asks Joon-Hyuk to operate on a pancreatic cancer patient. Joon-Hyuk hears the vice director of the hospital,Do-Young's superior, made a wrong diagnosis of the patient. So, he refuses to operate at first. But pancreatic cancer is very rare. Joon-Hyuk wants to operate. Joon-Hyuk decides he operates on the day Professor Lee,Joon-Hyuk's superior,is absent because of a seminar. Joon-Hyuk operates without letting anyone watch.

In the operation, the vice director comes to the operating room.
